Thought for the day...

Thanks, Pastor B!

If you never felt pain, then how would you know that I am a Healer?

If you never had to pray, How would you know that I am a Deliverer?

If you never had a trial, how could you call yourself an overcomer?

If you never felt sadness, How would you know that I am a Comforter?

If you never made a mistake, How would you know that I am a forgiver?

If you knew all, How would you know that I will answer your questions?

If you never were in trouble, How would you know that I will come to your rescue

If you never were broken, Then how would you know that I can make you whole?

If you never had a problem, How would you know that I can solve them?

If you never had any suffering, Then how would you know what I went through?

If you never went through the fire, Then how would you become pure?

If I gave you all things, How would you appreciate them?

If I never corrected you, How would you know that I love you?

If you had all power, Then how would you learn to depend on me?

If your life was perfect, Then what would you need me for?

We are looking for some feedback for a good Christian book to review for the District Convention April 27th-29th 2012 . Please submit your requests to Betty at breimann65@q.com

Also, we would like to find out how many ladies might be interested in chartering a bus to travel from SLC (or a surrounding area) to Meridian, Idaho for the District Convention April 27-29th 2012. St. Paul's Annual Fall Retreat

Join us on Saturday, November 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ogden for our annual fall women's day retreat. Tickets are $20 which includes lunch, journals, and more! Please contact Jeannie wbarrette1@msn.com for more information. God's Wonder Full World!

check out this link for a sneak peek!

* This day retreat is a travel-themed experience that focuses on God's wondrous love. We all know about the Seven Wonders of the World, but what about the wonders of a woman's heart? At Wonder Full World, we explore questions every woman asks, such as "I wonder if anyone cares about me, I wonder where God is when life is hard, or I wonder if I can make a difference." Women find the answers to their questions in God's Word, and are affirmed over and over in God's unending love for them.

* The day includes service. Women today long for opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others. So we've incorporated a way for women to make a difference in the lives of others right away!

* Everyone gets involved.
* Bible Study
* Fellowship
* Prayer time
* Singing and more!
* It's fun for women of all ages.
* Bring a friend!
