What is the LWML?

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For over 65 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.

Convention: Servant Events

For the "knit-wits"...  bring your needles and yarn!  We will knit and crochet hats for chemo patients!

Pillowcase dresses and T-shirt Diapers...  Recycle GENTLY used pillowcases T-shirts or buy new special for this project.  Bring them along and learn how to sew these clever items.  Dresses and diapers will be sent to Oprhan Grain Train.

For Love, INC...
Toiletries (shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes)
Socks and Underwear (especially boys')
Items for Foster Care Kits (more on that later...)

 For Interfaith Sanctuary...
"Desert Comfort" Kits (plain chapstick, kids' sunglasses, sunscreen, sun hats)
 Goal:  50 "Desert Comfort" Kits!

Spring Updates



Here are some photos from the Spring Event in Logan. Thank you to those who made the trip. Special thank  you to Pam King and all the ladies of Logan for the programming and hostessing this wonderful event.





Announcements: 
* We would like to welcome Cheryl (Holy Trinity, Logan) our new Utah Zone President and Patty (Christ Lutheran Church, Murray) to the Zone Board. Thank you for your willingness to serve.
* Please see the updated 'upcoming events' in the right hand column
* The ladies of the Utah Zone have assembled 36 pillow case dresses and sent them to Orphan Grain Train and 36 dresses to be sent to Haiti.
* Grace Lutheran Church in Sandy is collecting soap (regular 4.5-5 oz). So far they have sent 63 lbs of soap  to Lutheran World Relief to be shipped to foreign countries that have a great need for hygiene products.
